Viewing Transfers
Inventory Transfers once added can not be changed. If changes are needed the transfer must be deleted and re-entered.
When you first enter into the Inventory Transfer option, the user will be placed immediately in the New Transfer option.where a new transfer can be entered. If you press enter a Select A Transfer window displays the following options:
- EXIT – If you select EXIT, the system will leave this option.
- NEW – If you select NEW , the system will allow you to create a new transfer. Refer to Adding Transfers for more information.
- PRINT – If you select PRINT, the system will print a list of transfers entered on the current day. Refer to the Printing Transfers for more information.
- A list of all previously entered transfers sorted by the most recent. The following information will display for each transfer:
- The transfer number and time of the transfer was entered
- From - The "From" item name , quantity and unit of measure
- To - The "To" item name, quantity, and unit of measure or the Inventory cost adjustment type description if the inventory was transferred to none.
- Yield - The yield on the transfer if applicable.
- The user can select one of the transfers from the list to view or delete a transfer entered on the current day..
Scroll to the appropriate transfer to view or delete, and press Enter to confirm your selection.
The message line will contain the following options:
- Exit - Select Exit to return to the Select A Transfer window
- Info – Select Info to view the item info lot attributes of the "To" item for that lot. Select Exit to exit the item info lot attributes.
- Lots – Select Lots to view the details of each lot selected for the "From" item,
- Slots – Select Slots to view the quantity transferred into slot(s), if the "To" item is a lotted item that was transferred to a slotted location.
- Delete – Select Delete to delete or reverse this transfer.
- The message line will warn you that it is about to reverse the transfer and will ask if you wish to continue: "Transfer will be reversed!!! Continue? No/Yes?"
- If you select no, the transfer will not be deleted or reversed.
- If you select yes, the transfer will be deleted or reversed.
Note: A transfer cannot be deleted or revered if the "To" lot created during the original transfer has been modified in any way. The message line displays "cannot reverse transfer, lot changed !!! Space bar to continue". To fix the inventory, the user will need to do another Inventory Transfer or Inventory Adjustment.
